Join The Gym of Buckhead and It's the Journey, Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer in preparing for one of Atlanta's Biggest Fundraiser's - The Atlanta 2-day Walk for Breast Cancer. Gym of Buckhead will train and prepare you to walk in the fight against cancer. We will build lean muscle and increase your endurance through weight training, calisthenics, plyometrics, stretching and cardiovascular work ...all in a fun, supportive environment and all working together for one common goal..To give breast cancer the boot!

Thousands of people come out to walk and in 2 days millions of dollars are raised. We are taking 3 months to train and prepare those walking in the 2 day event in September. We are offering 2 boot camps - 1 for Breast Cancer Survivors called Survivors Boot Camp and another called Boobies Boot Camp. BOOBIES BOOT CAMP

Boobies Boot CampDesigned for those supporting the cause – Boobies Boot Camp is a rigorous exercise program designed to get you in great shape, involve your upper body in your 2 day walk training regimen and get you energized! Although the classes are in a group setting, the workouts are very individualized and geared towards your level of conditioning. Anyone can do this program, and everyone sees results.  Boot camp meets 3x week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, plus 1 additional in gym workout class on Friday or Saturday. sign up now >>

SURVIVOR BOOT CAMP

Survivor Boot CampSurvivor Boot Camp isn't like your regular boot camp. It is a special, gentle boot camp to assist survivors and those going through treatments in a comfortable workout environment. The trainers will coach you every step of the way with a diet geared towards offsetting some of the side effects of medications without interferring with their intended outcomes. The camp will involve stretching, lengthening and strengthening routines to increase your range of motion, increase stamina mentally and physically and leave you feeling more energized. Survivor Boot Camp is a 3x week program (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) plus 1 additional in gym fitness class workout on Friday or Saturday. This program totals 4x’s week. sign up now >>

What are the Boobies Boot Camp workouts like?
The workouts are structured to push everyone at their own level, so they are fun and rewarding for the elite workout veteran and for the person who may just be getting off the couch! Your instructor is excellent at what he does and knows how to get you in shape. And because you are out there as a team, and everyone is cheering you on, you have lots of motivation.

What are the Survivors Boot Camp workouts like?
The workouts are structured to push everyone at their own level.  They are full of lengthen and strengthening exercises to aid you in your recovery and increase your fitness level.  Your instructor is excellent at what he does and knows how to get you in shape. And because you are out there as a team, and everyone is cheering you on, you have lots of motivation.

When do the classes meet?
The great thing about this program is convenience. We hold classes outside at Chastain or Blackburn Park and also the Gym of Buckhead!  There is also childcare offered at the Gym of Buckhead if you need to utilize the service during your workout session time.  Pricing is available at the Gym of Buckhead.
